Champions League betting
The 2010/11 Champions League betting looks intriguing with favourites Barcelona as short as 5/2 to win Europe's premier competition. No doubt the addition of David Villa to arguably the strongest squad in Europe has attracted a lot of early betting interest. Barcelona's Spanish rivals Real Madrid are second favourites in the betting, and will no doubted attract a lot of interest at best odds 11/2 with Betfred given they have Jose Mourinho in charge. The former Chelsea Manager has won the Champions League with two different clubs, and will be looking to make it a hatrick.
Next up in the betting are a host of English sides; Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal, priced at 5/1, 8/1 and 12/1 respectively with Bet 365. Chelsea have a fantastic squad, and Manager Carlo Ancelotti has already tasted European success with AC Milan. The fourth English qualifiers Spurs are priced at 40/1 given their relative lack of European experience.
